Known for his line work and innovative characters, Oogum is a mixed media artist ranging from drawing, painting, graphic design, and sculpture.  This up and coming artist is rapidly gaining momentum in the LA art scene.
He grew up middle class family in LA. When he was 13 on July 4th a firework blew up in his face and he got 2nd and 3rd degree burns . His whole face was gone.
He had no eye brows. He didnt  notice myself .That's the summer he stayed in and all he did was practice drawing ...
"Toys Are Us" would give him art supplies for free to support his new passion.
His face did heal, but passion for art stayed. That was around the time when he knew that all he wanted to do is ART and nothing but ART. It gave him the opportunity to communicate emotions, fears and passions.
He recentley participated in movie project and will have his first solo exhibition in Los Angeles.
